Building regulations require that most gas (part L) and electrical (part P) work carried out in the home is to be certificated. We are able to provide the relevant certificates as opposed to contacting the local authority and arranging for a building inspector to visit, which is more costly and time consuming.

Boiler replacements and upgrades

From April 2005, all domestic gas boilers installed must be of the condensing type. There are very few exemptions to the Government legislation. This is not new technology to us as we have been installing and maintaining condensing boilers for many years.

We can help you choose the right make and model for your particular requirements. Everyone's requirements are different so other people's opinions or advice is not always a good basis for choice. Our choice is based on quality, reliability and ease of use at a reasonable price.

Full heating systems

We offer a full design and installation service of boilers, radiators, pipework, thermostatic valves and controls. We will design a system tailored to suit your needs. Boilers, radiators and tank sizes are all calculated to your homes requirements to provide maximum comfort and efficiency.

Radiators

There is a wide range of radiators available from the standard type to designer radiators. All radiators are sized to provide maximum efficiency and performance.

Energy efficiency controls

We are able to give advise on energy saving products giving you more comfort control over your hot water and central heating. With the added benefit of saving money off your fuel bill.

Unvented hot water cylinders

Unvented hot water systems require additional qualifications, which all our engineers hold.

The installation of unvented hot water cylinders is subject to minimum water pressure requirements being met.

These units give excellent stored hot water performance without having water tanks in the loft or using pumps. They are mains pressured.

Powerflushing

Symptoms of sludge are - noisy boiler, cold areas at the bottom of radiators, sluggish performance and radiators that never get as hot as the others, repeatedly failing components such as the pump or valves. Constantly having to bleed air from the radiators.

Over the years heating systems can accumulate a sludge build up. This will lead to higher fuel bills, noisy boiler, inefficient and unreliable system. It will shorten the life of everything on the system if left.

Using a powerflush pump we connect onto the system via the heating pump or by removing a radiator. The heating system is then cleansed using water at high velocity, but at low pressure so that no physical damage is caused to the system. Power flushing removes the sludge deposits and the problems that they cause.

We use a food grade chemical, not an aggressive acid based chemical so as not to eat through radiators or pipes and is better for the environment.

We have reduced the amount of water used in the process by using the magnaclean powerflush unit. This uses magnet technology, which traps and holds the tiny particles, which would normally be removed by flushing through with fresh water. Plus you get to see what has been removed.

This process restores performance and efficiency to the pipes, the radiators, and the boiler.

Boiler and central heating servicing

We carry out annual servicing on most domestic gas appliances. If left neglected appliances can be unsafe, inefficient and unreliable. We take apart and clean the appliance then check it is operating safely. Also checking the rest of the system operation.

Often it can be a requirement of insurance companies to have your boiler serviced annually. Paperwork confirming this will be left with you.

Boiler and central heating repairs

Our engineers have an excellent understanding of boilers and heating systems, allowing us to promptly diagnose faults and getting them fixed. It may be that there is an underlining problem, which has caused the fault.

Landlord's safety certificates

We are able to issue landlords safety certificates. This is a legal obligation for the landlord, to be carried out annually if a property is let.
