Central Heating Systems
As fully-qualified plumbers & gas engineers, we have successfully designed & installed central heating systems across Bournemouth, Poole & Dorset for over 17 years. We take pride in tailoring your central heating system to the needs of you, your family and your home.
We can supply and install all elements of your central heating system from gas boilers, radiators, pipework and thermostatic valves to energy efficiency controls. Boilers, radiators and tank sizes are calculated to your home's requirements - or your own specifications - to provide maximum comfort and optimum efficiency.
Central Heating Servicing
We carry out annual servicing on central heating systems and most domestic gas appliances. If left neglected, appliances can become unsafe, inefficient and unreliable. We take apart and clean the appliance, before checking and testing it to ensure it is operating safely. We also check all other parts of the system operation.
It is often a requirement of home insurance policies to have your boiler serviced annually. We always provide the necessary paperwork confirming you have had your central heating system serviced by a properly registered and qualified engineer.
Central Heating System Repairs
Each of our engineers has over 17 years experience and therefore an excellent understanding of boilers and central heating systems - allowing us to promptly diagnose faults and restore your system to working order.
If we identify an underlying problem which has caused the fault, we will advise you on your best options and provide a reasonable quote.
Radiators
We can supply any type of radiator from the standard type to more contemporary designer radiators. All radiators are sized to provide maximum efficiency and performance.
Energy Efficiency Controls
We are able to offer advice on energy-saving products - providing more comfort and giving you more control over your hot water and central heating. Energy efficient devices can offer significant savings on your fuel bills by reducing the amount of energy required to heat and run your home. Energy efficiency controls & devices also help towards gaining a more favourable EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) as part of your HIP (Home Information Pack) if selling or renting your property in the future.
Unvented Hot Water Cylinders
Unvented hot water systems require additional BPEC qualifications, which all our engineers hold. The installation of unvented hot water cylinders is subject to meeting minimum water pressure requirements. These units are mains-pressured and give excellent stored hot water performance without requiring a water tank in your loft or the use of pumps.

New and replacement hot water tanks and immersion heaters installed, serviced & repaired.
Power Flushing
Over the years heating systems can accumulate a sludge build up. This will lead to higher fuel bills, a noisy boiler or an inefficient & unreliable system. It will shorten the life of every element of the system if left unrepaired. This is usually remedied by Power Flushing... Symptoms of sludge are:
* a noisy boiler
* cold areas at the bottom of radiators
* sluggish performance
* radiators that never get as hot as the others
* repeatedly failing components such as the pump or valves
* constantly having to bleed air from the radiators.
Using a power flush pump, we connect onto the system via the heating pump or by removing a radiator. The heating system is then flushed through using water at high velocity, but at low pressure so that no physical damage is caused to the system. Power flushing removes the sludge deposits and the problems that they cause.
We use a safe, non-hazardous chemical - not an aggressive acid-based chemical - so as not to eat through radiators or pipes, which is also better for the environment.
We have reduced the amount of water used in the process by using the magnaclean power flush unit. This uses magnet technology, which traps and holds the tiny particles which would normally be removed by flushing through with fresh water. Plus you get to see what has been removed if you want to..! This process restores performance and efficiency to the pipes, your radiators & your boiler.
Landlord's Safety Certificates
As registered & qualified gas & central heating engineers, we also issue landlord's safety certificates. This is a legal obligation for the landlord if a property is let to tenants or any rooms in your home are rented out and must be carried out at least annually.
